So the Monkey made it safe and sound into Thailand...OH LORD...let the trouble begin!!!! Scott and Ricky decided that after we got hime settled that a quick beer to let him unwind would be the greatest of ideas. I was tired so the boys went off in happy persuit of their Big Changs! DEAR LORD! When they finally got to bed (8:30 am) I got up and decided that they needed the room to themselves. Besides, all the drunken grumblings woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep.

Several hours later after the boys regain something that resembled sobriety (yeah, right), we strolled around town with Ricky to show him around. The first day we took a boat tax around some of the canals in the city; very cool! We ended up meeting up with a great tuk-tuk driver (Chan is the man!). It turned out to be some random holiday in the city and tuk-tuk drivers were encouraged to show tourists certain sites in the city at a reduced rate in exchange for fuel vouchers! For the equivilant of about 1 dollar US, Chan drove us all over the city for most of the day. One of the places we stopped was a tailor shop called Manhattan! HOLY SMOKE!!! Well, Scott and the Monkey are just too pretty not to have an army of people design custom made suits, shrits, and coats!!! We had the greatest time; I got to be fashion advisor for a day. I was all over that place "OOOHH I like that material" and "Oh no, that just isn't the right shade of blue"!!!! I had the greatest time with it and Scott and the Monkey were kind enough to let me do it! The guy that was taking care of us (and feeding the boys complientary Chang beers) said it was the easiest job he has had in a while because I did all of the work! We went back the very next day so that the boys could do a fitting to make sure the measurements were right. I even had them make a few suits, some shirts, skirts, and a coat for me too!! But I have to say, I had an easier time picking stuff out for Scott and Ricky than I did for myself! Anyway, they treated us very well and the boys looked very chic in their custom made suits when we went to pick them up!

Then it was off to the island of Koh Pengang and the beach of Haad Rin for the Full Moon Party. On the bus ride down there we meet a very sassy Irishman named Mark who kept up with the pace and fit right in with our good-time-havin'-selves. After a couple of days of lounging pool side (DISCLAMER: I had nothing to do the that picture that Scott posted giving evidence to the reason we were alone on our side of the pool at the hotel. I am just as sicken and oddly fascinated as the rest of you) we finally went into Haad Rin to get the lay of the land for the big party. We ran into Mark and some of his friends and got a taste of what was to come. The next day was spent on a boat touring the islands, taking the the sites, and snorkeling. The night of party came and nothing can even come close to describing how crazy it was. There were people everywhere dancing, drinking, laughing, stumbling, sleeping, you name it!!!!! There were so many people laying all over the beach that at one point I thought that I band of little Thai people were going to come and scoop them up like turds in a cat litter box! There were many buckets of vodka, Red Bull, and Sprite had between us. The sun slowly made its way up into the sky and the party just kept going. I have to say, that it was the most beautiful sunrise that I have ever seen in my life.

After some late night grease, well food really, we crawled into bed to recover. Needless to say, Ricky and Scott decided that they needed to fit in one more night of drunken shennanigans in before we left. I, again, stayed in ( I wasn't feeling all that great). As they strolled in at whatever time the am that it was, I knew it was going to be a long ride back to Bangkok! But they made it in one piece and unfortunately we had to send the Monkey home. We considered holding him for ransom but decided against it realizing the the ransom money would most likely end up being used for bail!!!!

So there is it! DAMN WHAT FUN!!! So tomorrow we are off to Chang Mai and the jungles of the north! I see elephants and bamboo rafts in our future!
