I also can't say enough about the Mauri village experience. I was just the coolest thing to watch and be a part of. They have a very rich tradition and love to share it.
We are in Nelson now and will be moving on to see the South island for the next week and a half or so. Eventually, we will end up in Christchurch for and SCA event (should be very cool) and then make our way back to Auckalnd for a few days (hopefully we can track down a place to watch the Super Bowl). More will come then!!!! I love you guys and miss everyone very much! PLEASE EMAIL WHEN YOU CAN. WE LIKE TO HEAR FROM EVERYONE AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE. Its sort of like being home.!
P.S. I MISS MY BOO!
Scott does the best job of recapping what we have done but I did want to throw in a penny or two...hell, maybe three! NZ has been a total kick! We have been so lucky to meet some great people and see some amazing things. As you can see from the pics, Auckland was a scream. We are lucky to say that we will be able to spend a few more days there before we have to head out on the 8th of Feb. Caluzzi was a scream! I have laid out an open invite to all the girls there to come for a visit! WAtch out MIrando, you might have some guest performers for Baton Rouge and to help out in New Orleans. Not worry, we will get them all hooked up! So far though, the highlight was the Rock-N-Ropes jump swing! I thought I was going to either cry like a girl or crap my pants...it was that scarey. I wasn't even going to do it but I thought to myself "Self, what if you walk away and wish you had done it?". So, that did it and I signed on. SO SCAREY!!! BUt totally worth it. I am so glad that I did it!
