The plan was to spend a few days on the beach under the blistering heat working on our tans to make ourselves look even prettier than we already looked. Not an easy feat I know and in fact impossible when you only get one sunny day and the next 4 in a row deliver Irish quantities of drench from the skies. AAHHHH what a disaster. Then again you wouldn't be reading any of these stories if it had been sunny and wouldn't you have missed out on a good laugh if you didn't read about the gimp we met in Hoi an. Bottom line is that we just lazed about here day after day in hope and anticipation that there might be one more day of sun. We mightn't get sun again now till next year or maybe the year after : / As we go up north we'll be in rainy-season country and further north in a few weeks it'll be c c c cold.
