There was also a queer fella coming onto me who worked in the hostel, what a pain in the ass he could have been. I made sure he knew I was having none of it. We were told that the hostel was haunted too and that there had been three sightings of ghosts in the last month.
We checked out the stadium where the first ever world cup was played which Uruguay actually won. Estadio Centenario. We also checked out one of the two zoos in the city (this'll give ya an idea of how boaring the city was, mid week anyway on low season). 20 pesos to get in that's 66cent, rediclious or what. It was pretty misrible inside it tho. The city is full of nice old buildings and there's tonnes of monuments. There's amazing meat markets in the old part of the city during the day the photos will show them when I get the chance to put them up. The food there is delicious and dirt cheap too, you'd be stuffed for 5 euro.
Got a bus to Colonia and from there a boat across to Buenos Aires. The baot trip was sweet, never been on a boat that size before. 4 or 5 floors on it.
