Why weren't the gloves a little longer? Ensure you hold your arm at right angles as the birds tend to climb upwards should you drop past the 90 degrees.

The final flight with the Harris Hawk was really good. To be close to the birds, especially ones that have learnt to respond so well to the human command, was awesome.
This was followed by a trip to Stratford Upon Avon, and a walk along the river, watching the fishermen catching redfin and other oddly named specimen, the swans and the eccentric characters strolling though the park lands and along the walk ways. A most pleasant experience for them, and us, although I suspect they may know a little more about Shakespeare and all he brought to the area than I. The Boatshed on the river, and its Thai restaurant looked good - and it was. The curry was hot, very hot, and it wasn't only I that so thought. But it was fantastic and the sunset over the boats, with the swans and other bird life settling on the river, finished a wonderful day, even though Gary's back was starting to play up a little...........
