For the past couple of weeks we've been saying our "so longs" to friends, both old and new. Because the duration of our trip is open-ended we really don’t know where or when we will see everyone again.
But what we do know is that neither space nor time can keep true friends apart for too long. Just ask Stephen Hawkings! He believes that both space and time can be bent. And thanks to globalisation, the internet and cheap airlines, we can figuratively do just that. “Someday... somewhere, la la la...” But before I break into song (Don’t worry, I wouldn’t torture you like that!)...
We would like to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation for everyone who graced us with their presence at our LEEving do last weekend and to others who made a determined effort to meet up and say goodbye. You are each a unique piece of the awesome mosaic that represents our time in London. It feels strange to think of London in the past tense. But you special people also feature in our future! We shall see you when we see you.
Much love, the Lees xxxx
P.S. Mario thinks this entry is too soppy, but I guess that's how I'm feeling so soppy it is!
