Unfortunately the littlest Kempton was rather poorly overnight with lots of sickness bouts, leaving a worried and tired set of parents. We realise just how lucky we have been to be illness free whilst away. Dylan would definitely have had a least 10 colds in this space of time if he was going to nursery still.

We had grand walking plans for today, but instead we take a day out of our busy schedule to look after Taya, catch up on some sleep, and play in the beautiful sunshine. A much needed rest and relax for everyone. Dylan enjoys lining his cars up on the picnic bench. His Mickey Mouse balloon from Disneyland has been pretty much filling the bathroom in the RV (we were hoping it wouldn't last quite as long) so Rich takes it outside. It makes a bid for freedom and Rich is reminded that this is why he should have left it in the bathroom (cheeky boy).

Nice long nap time gives us time to catch up on some jobs in the sunshine. Taya is fairly happy but still really sick. We lose track of how many outfit changes and showers Taya and Emma have today. Rich does a superb job of trying to keep on top of the washing before the next soaking. We scrub the van to try to keep germs at bay. Rich throws the bucket of dirty water over the grass and Dylan wants water thrown on him. Rich obliges. Dylan carries the bucket around for the rest of the afternoon watering the grass, then really gets into the cleaning by emptying all his toys into the bucket for a wash.

We realise today how lovely it would be to have a more useable garden, and one that was somewhere a little sunnier - firmly added to the wish list. The children loved it and so did we. Dinner outside in our 'garden', then the boys go for a swim whilst Emma gets Taya down for a early night. It could be a long one. Dylan loves his swim and gets Rich to give him a piggy back so they can race another guy swimming. he shouts encouragement in Rich's ear - "RACE daddy RACE". He goes off to sleep peeking out of the curtain by his bed to see what he's missing outside.

Once again, a lovely virtual visit to exciting places with your little traveling band.
Keep the wonderful blog rolling.

My breakfast treat this morning was to play a slideshow of all my photos ( over 200 ) of the Kempton 4 on Tour.
Well it was incredible!
Dylan and Taya have grown so much - physically of course, but they look increasingly so confident and alert - watch out everyone!
Votes for Mummy and Daddy - lots of them too!

Do we look bigger and more confident and alert too? Or smaller, more tired and sleepy? Xx
