A travel day today; moving on to the next chapter of our adventure to Tasmania.

A pack up and yummy brunch at the hostel which Taya whole heartedly joined in with. Gosh, we had forgotten the mess and the quantity of baby wipes required.

We had a quick stroll to Queen Victoria Market to pass some time before leaving for the airport. Nice market area. We were amazed to hear the cockney Australians shouting about their bananas, hadn't realised that market speak was universal! Dylan was a challenge today to say the least. Full blown toddler tantrums by the score. We have often found ourselves joining in with his new moves, arms up in the air and legs running on the spot, sure it looks strange to onlookers, but it keeps us entertained and calm. Hoping for a more settled little boy tomorrow, back to his usual self. Arrived safe and sound in Hobart, Tasmania. The girls bag was sniffed out by the security dog from the conveyor belt. Oh joy, the lady took pity on me as I'd unpacked half the bag with clearly no fruit or veg in sight!! Emma's favourite question - "is there any chance that any of the clothes in the bag have traces of food on them?". She managed to hold back the laugh and explain that, yes, that was highly likely, as Taya is yet to perfect her table manners.

We collected another nice big hire car which swallowed us and our belongings up nicely and it was just a 20 minute drive to our accommodation at The Fountainside Hotel in Hobart. We arrive just in time for dinner, a bath in the sink for Taya, and bedtimes. We are slightly apprehensive about what our room will be like here as they emailed to say we could book on the understanding that space would be very limited with the children's bed in the room. Well it's practically palatial compared to what we are used to, and a bonus feature of a bathroom big enough for Taya's cot. We can actually unpack as we have a whole 5 nights.

Guide book studied and looking forward to exploring what we think will be a really interesting city in the next few days.
