After driving around this dirty old town a good 7 times trying to figure out where the hell we were, we finally parked in a kinda sketchy area and walked ourselves to the TI (thanks to Elisa's on-foot navigation skills being better that our in-car ones). The lady working gave us directions to our B&B, which after getting in the general area and asking a pedestrian for directions we arrived at. It's gorgeous! The rock/brick large Tudor is covered with "Irish Ivy" (we aren't sure what it is) and roses. Our room had a cozy nook with table and chair, where we sat and had coffee and studied the town map in the sun.
Exhausted from our day at the rock we decided to just have an early dinner and call it good. We had the "early bird special" at Langton's, a 4-course dinner under an enormous Tiffany skylight for 22 euros each. Wonderful!
On our way back to our room we waddled through the park, which is actually the grounds attached to the town's castle. We almost got locked in!
Knowing we had to get up early to drive to Dublin and return the car in time to catch the train to Belfast, we retired in front of the telly, watching the wonderful game shows available on the BBC. Ahhhhhhhh.
