Heading south today has been a little more difficult than expected but good fun all the same. A tropical storm has passed nearby which has meant extra rainfall in the region. Our chicken bus was halted by a river that had burst itīs banks and flooded the surrounding countryside. We had to cross the water in a little boat and then catch another bus on the other side. We have managed to reach the small town of Raxruja but have been told that any further progress is not possible due to the rising rivers further south. We have essentially been cut off by the water. So, after getting a cheap hotel for the night we headed out for some food with the two guys we are traveling with. Dinner was local, cheap and very tasty.
After dinner it was card games and lots of drinking. The Belgium guy who is with us cracks me up. I canīt help but laugh at most of what leaves his mouth. Itīs been refreshing to be around him and he has lifted my energy.
A big part of our travels so far has been meeting different people. Both myself and Mish have both benefited from this and we look forward to meeting many more friends along the way. Tomorrow we catch another bus south and I look forward to doing battle with the rivers once again.

Adios from a wet but high spirited pair of ramblers XX
