It愀 hot, it愀 humid and it愀 beautiful. We are in Mazunte, staying in a nice hostel right on the beach, overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean. Carlos "Einstein" Hostal

The guy that own愀 the place is excentric, to say the least, and the people we are staying with are a great bunch. We have made many new friends, everyone is here for the same reason and that愀 to chill out. Our days are lazy, eating, drinking and swimming in the beautiful ocean. Mazunte Beach

I tried to body board in the huge waves here but, alas, the power of the Pacific was way to strong for little old me and I had to concede defeat. There is a stage here at the hostel and at 8pm every evening we make a drum circle and create a little noise.  Beach life

It愀 great to be able to play my didge with guys and girls from all over the world, Mexico, France, USA, Switzerland, Germay....It's equally nice to actually meet so many nationalities and have the chance to chat with so many different people, each with their own take on life, travelling etc. It's impossible to get bored. Yesterday a couple of us went out and grabbed a few coconuts from the many trees that grow around here. It愀 nice to be able to crack open a fresh coconut and drink the juice before feasting on the meat. Definately not what I惴 used to. Waiting for the storm

We are also very lucky in that there are many cacti here that can be picked for the aloe vera that they contain. It愀 great to rub over yourself in the evening when you have had a little too much sun. Very old Cactus (500 years appearantly)

The mosquitos here are on a mission to inflict maxium pain and suffering. They laugh at our "jungle strength" repellent and I惴 getting the impression they have actually developed a taste for the stuff. I think we are going to have to try and increase our chilli consumption and see if that has any effect.
We are going to head further up the coast soon on our way deeper into Mexico. We have been told it gets hotter and more humid the further you go east. I惴 ready for the serious sweats.

hello peeps, the hostel sounds amazing! good to see your making some friends on your travels now as i guess you dont feel like your standing out from the crowd so much now, the ocean sounds gorgeous and fresh alo vera and cocoa nuts, how cool is that!

I had a look into mosquitos for oyu mate, as i reckon your not gonna be wasting much time online when you get the chance, but apparently garlic is an excellent repellent, and sweet smeeling things like deodarant and shower gel attract. You probably know all this tho lol

take it easy guys, missing you already

xx
