Yay, we have arrived in Mexico City. As we flew in last night I can honestly say I have never seen such a vast city and from the air it looked amazing with all the lights blinking and flashing. Our journey was made even better when we unexpectedly flew over Greenland.

Greenland from the air
It looked totally uninhabitable but breathtaking at the same time. It was a clear day and we had a perfect view of snow top mountains, glaciers and icebergs floating in the freezing water. It all looked like something out of a national geographic programme.

Anyways, we arrived late last night so we checked into a hotel for the night and went straight to sleep. Twenty four hours traveling had taken its toll. Today we booked into a great hostel for a few days while we explore the city. We get free breaky, dinner and internet which I'm taking full advantage of right now, nice 1. My first impressions of Mexico are that of very small but friendly people, great street food and nice weather. The city itself is vast and the buildings are old and beautiful. The whole place is buzzing with noise and activity and it's a real treat to wander the streets just soaking up their way of life. If you are into people watching then this is the place. In a few days we are gonna head north to find a nice beach where we will relax and do nothing for a while. On that note, I'm gonna get back to my Corona and wait for dinner to be served.XXX
