It's Wednesday morning and we are in a rather wet Amsterdam after arriving Tuesday afternoon. It's nice to be here and say goodbye to Mish's family before we leave. We will be well fed and watered, probably the last time in a very long time.
I gotta say that yesterday had a very strange feel about it. All the goodbyes had been said and it was time to don the backpack and get ready for the big push. As my dad took us to the airport I had a mass of different emotions swirling around inside me. On the  plane I looked back down at England and said my goodbyes to the country I have lived in for the past 32 years.
We have a few days now to chill out before the arrival of a number of beer swilling, party ready boys, who land this Friday in Amsterdam for Steve's stag party. It's gonna be a good weekend, I tell thee....

Oh yeah, thanks to everyone for the late phone calls and texts wishing us bon voyage, it really did make a difference.
