Here's some stuff from the middle of the summer. We had a good spike trip for eight days on Lake Elsner Easement which was some of the hardest work we've done all season. We hiked about 40 miles in five days with a minimum of fifty pounds on our backs everyday. It was exhausting and buggy and rainy but that's how memories are made right? In June, I got sent to Petersburg Alaska for Wildland Fire training. My old buddy Mike Truex is down there working and we got to catch up and hike and hang out like old times.
