We are in the middle of the Argentine lake district, where many Argentinians go on holiday as well as foreign tourists. The town itself has lost some of its charm as tourism, hotels, etc. have overrun it. There are an amazing number of pretty lakes in the area -- we drove along "Seven Lakes Road" and each lake seemed to be as clean and scenic as the ones before it. The biggest lake is Lago Nahuel Huapi, which stretches for over 90 km.
