We met up with our traveling companions today. There's 23 of us again, another full truck, though it seems a bit bigger so not quite as crowded as in W. Africa. We're the only 2 Americans, though there is a woman with Irish citizenship who went to Stanford and lived in Palo Alto. The rest are mostly British ranging in age from mid-20s to 70. We packed up & drove 9 hours to our first stop, the waterfall at Salto de Laja. It's an impressive sight, and the campground is right next to it. It has running water! -- a definite step up from our previous camping.
