We traveled up to Raleigh and stayed in the Motel 6. Tom Bodet left the light on for us. Nothing to write home about (although that's exactly what we're doing now), but it'll be luxury compared to what we get in about a week.

We attended the wedding of Maria & Todd Meyer. Maria was one of Anna's college friends at Campbell. The wedding was a full Catholic Mass, attended by about 150 people. The reception was at the Marriott and featured an Irish band as well as a DJ. We didn't really try our hand at Irish dancing, but there were a few swings and waltzes that we got in -- probably not a lot of opportunities for ballroom stuff over the next 3 months. Speaking of that, it's about time to chow down on salad before we have to stop eating raw vegetables....
