On our first full day in Prague we decided to do a free tour around the Old Town and Jewish Quarter. We were not disappointed! Our tour guide showed us all of the main attractions such as the Astronomical Clock, Old New Synagogue, Tyn Church, Municipal House and the Powder Gate and explained the history of each so that we understood the importance of what we were looking at. We learnt that Prague has eleven different architectural styles, about 9 more than most cities in the world! After this we attempted to walk to Wenceslas Square and got very lost but ended up there in the end. There were more Christmas markets there and the National Museum (which had scaffolding all over it so we could not even see it). We ate at the markets near us for a scrumptious dinner.
