Mel spent the morning doing the laundry while Neil changed the fan belt on the bus. We delayed going out into the city until late afternoon as it was 53'C in the shade at 3 pm!

Checked out a few more hotels including "The Venetian" which has an indoor canal and gondolas and watched the sinking of the pirate ship at "Treasure Island". But for us our Vegas highlight was watching the fountains at "The Bellagio" after dark which are choreographed to music. Absolutely spectacular without being tacky.

We were back at our hotel before midnight and so avoided seeing the seedier side tonight. Very pleased about that as if we had left today and last night had been our final glimpse of Vegas, our lasting memories would have been rather tainted.
