The plan was to work on the bus from 6am to 10am then get packed up, shower and check out at noon. But after a couple of hours, and a particularly dirty cabinet, it became obvious that we needed another night. With the pressure off, we took a break at lunchtime and went out to drop documents at the insurers, collect our wheel cover that we ordered a fortnight ago and pick up a new oil drain plug as the one that was fitted doesn't fit very well!

Chip also appears to have a rear brake binding, as when we brake there is an awful knocking noise coming from one of the rear wheels. We noticed it at soon as we collected him, but as he has had lots of new brake components, we are hoping that it is just everything getting bedded in.

After a few more hours, the cleaning was eventually finished just as it got dark. And not a moment too soon, as Mel can't feel the ends of her fingers!
After cleaning up, we walked or rather hobbled around to Panda Express for dinner. We have used muscles in the last couple of days that we had forgotten existed and Mel especially is walking like a Barbie Doll (all stiff and straight-legged for anyone who has never owned a Barbie!). We fell into bed looking forward to our lie-in in the morning - a 7am start!
