We left Hornby and drove down to stay in Victoria for a couple of nights. It's a quaint little town and our luck with good weather continued. We shunned whale watching in Tofino as we were told there was a much better chance of seeing Killer Whales if we did it in Victoria. Unfortunately it wasn't to be and was a bit of a let down. We were out on the water for 3 hours but at least 2 of those were getting to and from the area whales were normally seen. The Orcas didn't turn up for us, unfortunately. We did see a few Minke Whales which was a nice consolation prize but still a little disappointing. Consoled ourselves with some excellent Fish & Chips before heading back to Vancouver on the ferry.
