First stop this morning was the County Recorder's office to get our official copies of the marriage certificate. So now I can file to change my name, and Steve can get his green card.

We drove out to Old Town, and spent a few hours poking around in the shops there and taking pictures. Paid a special visit to the Tortilla Ladies for some of their world famous tortillas. I can taste them now just thinking about them!

We left for lunch at an old family favorite: The Barbeque Pit. If you want good food, this is the place. Even better, it's right next door to Baskin Robbins Ice Cream. So of course, we all had desert.

My dad had a doctor's appointment that afternoon, so my mom, Steve, Ian, and I went to the mall so we could do some last minute shopping. I wish we had more time to browse more of the shops. It's like a trip down a memory super highway to be in that mall. That's where I used to hang out with my friends as a teenager.

Anyway, when we got back to the house, Ian, my mom and I took a walk to the local park to play for a bit. Mainly just to let Ian burn off some energy that he had in spades!

Finally, back to the house, and the huge task of packing. We did manage to enjoy a bit of a bon fire, and my Aunt Jewel came over to say good-bye.

Almost everything made it into the suitcases.
