I left Paris on August 9th heading for Prague. unfortunately AJ had to fly back to Texas, (she is ok, but needs to see her Dr.) so we split up and I went to Prague and she went home. she will be back to finish Europe with me :) she's one tough cookie.

I was able to book a sleeper car and fell fast asleep, the windows were cracked and my roomies ( 4 of us) all fell fast asleep. I loved the fresh air and the rocking of the train, ( plus my earplugs my Sister Kathy gave me worked like a charm)

The 3 roomies turned out to be three guys traveling for 6 months together,( they were in there mid 30's) they told me they had reservations at a pretty cool place and told me I could tag along with them to see if they had a room for me, so off I went.

After getting my room i took a quick shower then I decided to head out and explore the city, the Roomies, were headed for a bar :) ready to see this amazing city, and It was truly amazing, I love walking till my feet hurt, getting lost on the small narrow streets. I went straight to The Charles Bridge, a must see in Prague. Just amazing to see, there are 30 statutes along the bridge, it is the oldest bridge in Prague, starred in the 13th century and finished in the 15th century. I also crossed the other bridges on both sides of Charles Bridge to get great pictures from far away. I broke my rule about immediately getting the tour bus to explore the city, and getting my bearings. It was a bit cloudy and rainy the next day so I decided to ride the trams and explore that way. Plus in my haste I bought a 3 day unlimited metro pass which I didn't really use a lot, but glad I had it.

On my last day in Prague, Im on the Hop on Hop off tour and the guy who sits down next to me is a Texan, from Dallas (Mark:) (small world) he is traveling for 3 weeks, his first day in Prague, my last, so we end up spending the day together enjoying the tour and doing a Boat ride later in the afternoon. We decide to walk all the way back to the city center when Mark sees a beautiful blue Vintage 1929 convertible (all original parts) he decides we need a more detailed and personal tour of Prague in that amazingly cool car and hires him to give us a private tour of Prague. It was amazing, sun in your face, wind in your hair and great company.

We were able to see a few more sights we otherwise would have missed. After our amazing tour we walk for a few more hours then decided to head for Dinner, I found this great Restraunt that had amazing reviews for Czech food, Mark was ok with this so we head there for dinner. It was great. "Skorepk" is the name of the Restraunt.

We walked around looking at the city at night (a must do in Prague, the castle and Churches as well as all the bridges are lit up) we were going to stop for this amazing dessert but we were still too full, by then it was 11:30 pm and I needed to get up early so I thanked him for a great day and we went our separate ways.

The Czech Republic is the most athiest country in Europe, with 66 %25 of the people being admitted atheists. (Do NOT believe there is a God)
