Today we drove over to Mt Cook - the highest peak in New Zealand.

We went on the Hooker falls walk to get some great views of Mt Cook, as well as Mt Muellar and glaciers.  The walk was really pretty with different views around each corner.  When we got up to the Hooker glacier lake (which had mini icebergs in!) we got some amazing views of Mt Cook, and then someone pointed out this face on the side of the mountain - it was so clear, and as with these things, once you see it you cant not see it!

That evening was our last proper evening on the trip and so we had to empty the food and alcohol bins! We had very funny party on the bus, which ended up smelling like a brewery and with 27 empty wine bottles in! (although most were only half full to start with!) but it was all cleared up by the time we got on the bus the next morning because our driver was just great!!!  Thanks dodgy!
