Europe! (Presque/Almost)

Et voilà, après 22h30 de bus (moins que les 24h prévues!) je suis arrivé à Santiago du Chili. Je me suis offert la classe "Cama Premium" pour ce voyage, ce qui veut dire que mon dossier basculait à l'horizontale, et que j'avais également un repose-pieds horizontal. Résultat, j'ai super bien dormi dans ces circonstances, c'est-à-dire mieux que pas dormir du tout, ma manière normale de passer mes nuits dans les bus.

En revanche ici à Santiago c'est la galère. La ville est chouette, mais tout est super cher, et je n'ai un logement que pour cette nuit. On va voir ce que ça va donner... Maintenant, dodo!

Here am I, after riding a bus for 22h30 (less than the announced 24h!) I reached Santiago du Chile. I treated myself with a "Cama Premium" ride, which means that my seat's back reclined all the way to horizontal, and I had a horizontal foot support. As a result I slept very well given the circumstances, meaning better than not sleeping at all, my usual way of spending the nights in buses.

Now in Santiago it's a bit more difficult. The town's nice, but everything is super expensive, and I only have a room for tonight. Let's see what tomorrow will bring... But for now, bed time!

Hey JF, weren't you supposed to have been in Patagonia by now?

Nah, I'll be in Patagonia in two weeks. Mid-February was my orginal target I think. I should be in Valparaiso and on the coast in a couple of days, and then heading South to the Lakes District.
