. but it was really just lies!! All lies!!. But, we were so hungry that it was be all hungry and uncomfortable on a long plane ride or just eat it to have some food in yer belly and make the ride at least acceptable. Oh, yes and one other thing that I learned on the plane was that when you are chasing the sun and are flying above the clouds the sun likes to reflect off of the clouds and turn them in to CLOUDS OF DEATH!!. Which is why everybody closes the windows becuase its like that classic song goes. BLINDS YOU WITH SCIENCE!!. Only in this case its not science but mind numbingly bright shards of light beams of death. I learned this lesson quite quickly. But, Lisa appeared to be a slow learner as she had to open the god damn window way to many times and get blinded by the light. It wasn't like there was much to see; we tried to play a rousing game of eye spy but when all there is out is clouds and the wing of the airplane yer options are very limited. Well after that fun trip was all up and done with we landed at Hong Kong airport early so we had and hour and a half to wander around and see all that we could see from the small part that we could wander. The cool part of the airport was that they had computers free of charge that people could use and access the internet with; and as you all know; since it is Hong Kong they must have up to date computers right??. Well, if that is what you thought then you would be wrong. Because for one these were Macs. But, they weren't even the good newer Macs. I know I know, good Macs? Those can't exist, but these were the old Macs
. Then they would seem to randomly decide to go on the internet or hotmail. So after about 10 minutes of trying to check mail and what not we just gave up and wandered around on the people movers until it was time to check back on to our plane. Which when we got back on the plane we realized that it was the exact same plane on the exact same seats and all. Now, I won't bore you all with the details of the second flight. But, you will get the readers choice digest version: Finding Nemo X2, Scrubs X1, Friends X1, crappy food X2. Thats about it. Thats the entire flight and stuff. Now, we are at the hostel and just exploring around Auckland and seeing all there is to see. We got a free bus trip tomorrow to see a bunch of the sites. So, in the next few days will be the upload with all the pics of Auckland and stuff. Cuz I know you ppl and you are all like oh pictures pictures. We need to see, so fine I will. But, not this time cuz I didn't take any pictures of the airplane because if there are any of you who don't know what an airplane looks like I cry for your childern
Strait Outta Auckland!
Well, here it is the first blog straight outta New Zealand. Well, where to start. Well, the beginning I guess usually helps rite?. Well, we started out by flying from Vancouver; yes and in case ya'll didn't know already I utterly hate flying with a passion so that automatically added some fun to the trip. Cathay Pacific is a nice airline. The flight to Hong Kong was preety empty so it helped the plane to well not smell like a plane load of stinky stinky people. We had TV's on every seat with like 20 channels so it helped relieve some of the boredom. So I finally got to watch X-Men 3 twice ove there. The food that they served was well entertaining. The first meal that we got was pasta and some kind of cheesecake and a bun which was edible at least. Then they served us breakfast and we got what sounded great was a omlette with ham and potatoes. No surprises rite??; yah, no, the omlette tasted like they took all the eggs and sucked every last scrap of moisture out of it and injected as much air as they could in to it so that it fluffed up to look all appetizing
