After lunch we rode on through Riockland, pausing to look out into the harbor, and on into Rockport. We went to their harbor where they have a nice little park. There are a few limestone kilns still there from when they were used in the 19th century to make lime for use in cement and plaster.
We left after about an hour and headed back to camp. We stopped in Thomaston at a store which sells things made at the prison. The items range from paintings to model ships to rocking horses to back scratchers. I took a couple of pictures of model ships before someone told me I couldn't take photos. There was a sigh at the door which I overlooked. The guy that checked us out was either a policeman or a prison guard in uniform.
It was a nice day but reached the mid 80's. We had to run the A/C mainly because of the humidity.
