David wanted to hike Homan's path since his name is Homan and we are glad he did.  It is a fantastic trail and although it us listed as strenuous it is not long so us old folks could do it.  David, Ron, Angela and I wet out to hike it via the Gorge Trail and Hemlock trail, both of which are listed as easy but the Hemlock trail had so many rocks and roots on it that it didn't seem easy.  Anyway, we finally found the Homan Path and after a short walk through the woods it started to climb.  It consisted of hand layed stones made into a three foot wide staircase.  As we neared the top we came upon a blueberry patch and ate our fill while resting.  We returned via the Emory Trail which was just as steep and as short but not so pleasing to the eye, not bad though.

After some afternoon reading and rest we all (including Linda) went out to eat seafood.  We all had steamed lobster.
