Flag of Austria  , Austrian Alps,

Only spent a night in Innsbruck as a stopover but managed to buy all of the remaining walking goods we needed like waterproof pants and more hiking poles and wash all of our clothes before Trins. It was good to be in Austria where the prices were half that of Switzerland.

We were delayed for 3 hours on our train in from Lucerne, a journey in which we had a stopover in Zurich where the temp was apparently 40 degrees and the toilets in the train station cost a phenomenal 1.50 Francs (same as Euro) for a number 1 and 2.00 for a number 2. Prices for Women were presumably all 2.00 given the limitations surrounding differentiation.
