Our day started out with a nice ride on The Great Movie Ride. What a classic! Then it was lunch at 50's Prime Time. This is one of those places where they tease you and treat you like a sibling. When they called us for our table, we were the "Criner kids". Our waitress was sister Megan. Just as we got seated, Terry realized his "spill proof" mug was in fact, not spill proof. He put it in his backpack earlier in the morning expecting to still have a little coffee left. Most of it was at the bottom of his backpack now. For whatever reason, to see if there was anything left in the mug, he turned it over on the table. Yeah, there was still a little left... and now it was on the table. Sister Megan came by and really got onto him about making a mess. She threw a bunch of napkins at him and told him to clean it up
After lunch we really got to moving. We rode Star Tours twice. Brook was the rebel spy both times. Then we took the plunge on Tower of Terror. Our bellman (woman) was great. She reminded us of Lady Gaga..,blonde, weird, and very animated. We then skipped across the park to see Lights, Motors, Action. We then skipped back across the park to ride Rockin' Roller Coaster and saw Beauty and the Beast. Fantasmic was starting, so we took advantage of the super low wait times. We rode Tower of Terror two more times and Rockin' Roller Coaster again. It was now time to head to Epcot for dinner.
We went to Epcot via ferry boat. Our dinner was at Chefs de France. Brook got the French onion soup with gobs of cheese and bread for an appetizer. This could easily be a meal by itself. Terry for the lobster bisque. It was good, but all lobster bisque is good. For dinner, Brook got the baked macaroni and cheese. Terry got the sea scallops and shrimp. For dessert, Brook got the strawberry cream cake with raspberry sauce and strawberry sorbet. Terry got the crime brûlée. Overall, it was a good dinner, not great. The French onion soup was the star...it was amazing. We probably don't need to go back for a while, though.
We headed to the room just as Illuminations was starting...gotta beat the exit crowds.
