Last couple of nights in Madrid were heaps of fun, hanging out with new mates from Canada, England and South Africa. We sang and danced, rock pig style, to ACDC and Bon Jovi at a bar called "El Perro" on one night, and had drinks back at the hostel before cutting outrageous haircuts into Cam and Phil (canadian bloke). Cam got a combination of a dirty mullet and a longish mohawk, whilst Phil got a shorter and more respectable 'hawk. The hair cutting was mostly performed by the expert hairdresser Brooksy (who had never done it in his life). It was all fun and games until Cam woke up the next morning and looked into the mirror :)

Between these two nights we went and watched a game at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, home of Real Madrid (one of world's richest soccer clubs). It was the home team against the bottom-ranked Malaga, in the Spanish league "La Liga". We were sitting right up the top, but still had a great view of the match - which had such luminous soccer stars as Beckham, Zidane, Roberto Carlos and Robinho playing. Real Madrid won 2-1 by a goal in the last minute of the game. Some absolutely top quality soccer, really enjoyed it.
