Crazy "Mexican Pipeline" surf beach

Arrived back at the Pacific Ocean after months without seeing it. Brooksy and I promptly named it the "Strayan Ocean". Surfers call this particular part of the coast the "mexican pipeline" due to it´s massive surf waves. The local beach to our hostel was sheltered in a little bay, but once we went down to the main beach, the massive waves were apparent. Watched a kickass sunset over these waves, which I have never seen bigger.
After many days of ruins and sightseeing throughout the south-east of Mexico, we felt it was an apt opportunity for some beach relaxation. Not much more to say really. On the day that we left, the whole coast was gearing up for the week-long party holiday the mexicans celebrate for Easter. Apparently our hostel was expecting 400 people per night, half of those camping, and nearly all Mexicans, as they´re the ones with the time off work.
