Bus from Uyuni to Potosí was hilarious. It was 10 times worse than the previously described 10 hour massage. Having said that, we just had to laugh. We had to put our bags on top of the bus in one of the worst thunderstorms we've seen. We had the worst seats, right at the back, Al was next to a big fat smelly old local lady taking up half his seat. There were people sitting in the aisle, the last person kicking Al in the feet. We had our shoulders and legs compressed by the experience.
Potosí to Sucre was in a 'colectivo' (cheap taxi), with deafeningly loud and bad music blasting in our ears. Once we got to Sucre, we decided to fly to Santa Cruz, rather than endure 20 more hours of land transport. Totally worth it.
