So sleep last night, ha what is sleep.  It certainly was an interesting concept.  It was so windy on the hill where our B&B is that the wind ripped through and made no much noise with its squealing through the windows, allowing me the joy of little to no sleep.  Oh well, that is what happens on holidays, now I am off to breakfast.
After breakfast of yummy scrambled eggs and bacon we headed off for Galway in the wind and rain.  The Coast Road that we are to take is just like the little Irish roads in all the movies that you see, very narrow, about the size of one car only, and should not be a road.  This will be fun in the rain, and the rain is that rain that comes across like sheets of paper.
It didn't take us as long to get to Galway as we though it would, just over an hour and a quarter which was very very good.  Mind you we got stuck behind this slow arse French car that would not even move over to let us pass, grrr both Lib and I were not happy travelers.
So in Galway we drove around the town, then the outskirts of the town and decided that as it is still raining there is no use trying to walk through the place, so we stopped off for a coffee & bathroom break.
No we head to Dublin to fly back to London.
We made another stop in Atherton (I think that is the name of it) just for another quick bathroom stop, a stretch and a wander through the shops, it has stopped raining now which is good, about time.  The drive to Dublin was great, two lanes, a motorway and 120kms.  We got to the airport a little after 3pm where we are now waiting for our 7.15pm flight.  Since picking up the car to dropping it off we did about 823kms, not bad for 50 hours if I do say so myself.  I think I did a great job of driving in a foreign country.  The only thing that I hated about driving though was not being able to check out the countryside as much as I would have liked and taken more photos.
Now we are off to bed, thank goodness, it is late and I want to sleep.
You know you love me
