First impressions really are not a god thing to go by.  I slept really well last night in a room with 11 others in a bunk bed...  Thank you Libbee for the wonderful ear plugs.  Showering was interesting though but I got through it ok.  Breakfast, well you can tell that I have been in hotels for the last two weeks, I walked off leaving my dishes on the table when I was supposed to wash them, but I realized what I had done and went back for them.
Now we are off to check out Dublin before getting our car and heading for Cork and Blarney.
So we walked through Dublin and went to Trinity College, which is supposed to be the largest (and possibly the oldest) College in Western Europe.  Very nice buildings and I bet the library would be remarkable.  After Trinity College we walked to St. Stephens Green and then just strolled around.  Now we are headed back to the Hostel to collect our bags, we hailed a cab and went to the car rental place.
Here we picked up our gorgeous little red Astra sports car.  Heading to Blarney for the night via Cork.  This was interesting and fun, trying not to get lost in the rain.  I am just glad that they drive on the same side of the road here as they do back home.
We have made it to Blarney and to the DaveMar B&B.  We checked into our room before heading off into Blarney Village for dinner and a drink.  Both Lib and I had potato & broccoli soup followed by Irish stew (corny I know but we had to do it).  Then we went to Blarney Castle Hotel for a Bailey on ice.
Now we are back in our room, with the intention to read before heading to sleep, but poor Libbee has lost her book.  We think she left it back at the Hostel and she is not impressed, she was near the end and wanted to find out what happened.  I think she may watch TV for a while and I am going to read.
Tomorrow we are going to kiss the Blarney Stone for heading off to the Cliffs of Moher.
You know you love me
