Slept well last night, with the help of a night mask, Jason said the sun set about 11pm maybe midnight, but for me, I was well and truly down for the count, and counting I was.. Slept for 12 hours, so good, and I needed it big time. Lauree even had the kids not annoy me this morning, not wake me up, but then I think I woke up before them anyway.
Can you believe that we went and sat sunbaking at the 'beach'. Photos of the beach to follow.. It is so funny to see all the very very white people sitting around in the parks in their bikini's soaking up the sun. I guess it is ok considering they don't warmth that often here. The water though was freezing, at least that is how it looked to me, no way was I going anywhere near it.
Jason cam ehome from work early and off we all went to the shopping centre and now that was fun. Me being in a country where English is not the first, second and possibly not even the third language but I just stood back and let the others order everything for me. Lauree and I went shopping, while Jason took the 3 kids off and not sure what he did. But L & I got some very good bargains, or at least she did. A couple of dresses for 7 euro, we both got bikini tops for 5 euro or less.
I find it hard at the moment trying to cross the road. I am used to looking left, but here I have to look right, I almost didn't and was about to walk out onto the road, would have been goodbye Tracey. So strange seeing people sitting on the wrong side of the car, but this place is beautiful. The scenery is so green and stunning it is wonderful. I am still reeling at the fact that I am so far on the other side of the world, and then up the top of the world too. Trying to talk Lauree into driving my to the Russia border just so that I can get photos of me near there to say i have been there. HAHAHA.
Oh well, I think that will do for now. Am off to try and help Lauree find sexy fashions for our trip to the Greek Islands.
