I arrived in Stuart, FL and was immediately put to work. My main job was to prepare two large shipping containers to be placed on the back deck of the boat for the survey. This is the easiest way to ensure a quick setup when the boat arrives. Check the pictures for more explaination if you've never been in a "dog house". The set up of the containers took a good portion of two weeks working every day, sometimes even late. One night while working late I learned exactly what will happen if you don't wear bug spray at night in Florida, My arms and legs looked like I had the chicken pox, and because I had so many I think I had an allergic reaction and they all got swollen and red. Not cool to walk around in shorts because I look like a lepercy victim, however it's definately not cool to try to wear long pants in 90+ deg. weather.
I did get to go scuba diving one time the water was warm and clear, I need to come down to the carribbean specifically for diving some time. Check the pictures, they tell a thousand words.
