Wednesday, August 4, 2010 (Day 34)- I would first like to wish my father a Happy Birthday, It is still early here but I will call you around noon. I have been awfully busy, due to the fact that I have moved from my apartment to the hotel where the Basketball Without Borders camp will be held. The hotel is very spacious and the food is amazing with a capital (A).

We have been preparing everything from packing the players & coaches bags with gear to setting up the signage and sponsorship logos on the court. I am loving this experience, check this my dress code is basketball shorts & a tee shirt. You really can't beat that.

The campers have started to arrive and they all have received their gears and are extremely excited to begin. There is a beautiful swimming pool that they have been indulging in for the past few days and just getting to know one another. I have been translating and helping the campers get familiar with their new environment. The best part about working with the staff from FIBA & the NBA is that everyone really enjoys the work that they do and it is truly contagious.

Chris Clunie has just set me up in the media room with high speed internet so hopefully I will be able to blog more about my experiences. I got a message from a friend asking me to share some video's of the camp and my response to that is that voice before watching an NBA game "All content is exclusive property of the NBA & any reproduction or distribution is prohibited" lol that means no videos. Sorry, but what I can do is take pictures of the hotel and share those. Camp begins tomorrow, should be exciting!
