We stopped at Volubilis on our way to Fes, to see the remains of the Roman town that was destroyed by an earthquake. The mosaic floors of the Roman villas are worth seeing, they lie amongst collapsing walls and columns and are in good condition.

Driving through Fes our first impressions are that the drivers here don't seem to need a driving license. It also appears that the way to cross over junctions that have no indication who has right of way, is to beep your horn, put your foot down and try and dodge the traffic driving straight at you.

The showers and toilets at our campsite at Fes are basic and not particularly clean, but they look useable. However after Mum's cold shower experience, I've decided to stick with my greasy hair and stink.
