Took wrong road out of Ronda, but it was very scenic overlooking the Grazalema mountain range, so we continued along it and then circled back on ourselves. The coast road towards Malaga is very built up with high-rise flats. We drove along the Costa del Sol between Marbella and Malaga and I was glad not to stop at any of the tourist resorts, full of grotty flats and souvenir shops.

We picked Mum up from Malaga airport. She'd had an interesting flight, which had been delayed due to high winds, overloading and strange engine noise, which kept Captain Potts very busy reassuring passengers that they weren't all doomed.
