More temples

I'm running out of time. Only 3 weeks left in SE Asia and still so many places I want to go. I arrived at the bus station in Chiang Mai and I still hadn't decided where I was going. I had a list of 3 possible destinations, but I cant do them all. I finally made my decision by choosing the bus that left first.

I arrived in Sukhothai after 7 hours. I knew little about the city; the only reason I wanted to come was because the day before I left Chiang Mai, I saw a picture I liked of a ruined temple. The temples did not disappoint. I spent today cycling around the Old City...it reminded me of the Angkor temples, but on a much smaller scale. I only stayed one night and that's all you really need here, because the Old City isn't huge and there isn't much to do in the new town, apart from eat at the night market.

Tonight I'm getting the night bus to Bangkok...still haven't decided if I'm going to spend a night there or whether I'll head straight for the beaches...decisions!
