Luckily we managed to get bunks on the train back to Hanoi. They were "hard bunks" (no mattress, just wood with a thin mat), but it was a huge improvement from the hard seats we had suffered on the way there. We arrived in Hanoi at 4.30am and I went back to the same hostel as before, but I'm currently hanging around waiting to see if anyone checks out...hopefully I'll know by midday. I'm exhausted and just want to shower and sleep. I feel impatient and irritable with everyone. I usually aren't too bothered by the Vietnamese being rude and unfriendly, but today they're really annoying me. I am writing this in an Internet cafe surrounded by squealing kids playing computer games and blasting music. The Vietnamese are so noisy and inconsiderate and I'm not in the mood to tolerate this!
