I left my hostel at 5.30am to catch my train to Jaipur, but it was running 3 hours late. I wasted the time by chatting to a few locals and watching people climb over the railway tracks and jumping onto moving trains.
On the train I met 3 Czech students travelling for a month in India researching Gypsy culture. I was also sitting next to a guy from Switzerland, Steve. All 5 of us went to the same hostel, but Steve and I decided not to stay there because it was over our budget. We decided to trust our rickshaw driver to find us a cheap hotel, and surprisingly he did, although we did end up in different hotels, but still in the same street.
I hadn't eaten for over 24 hours, so was starving. Steve and I had a late lunch at the rooftop restaurant at his hotel and then decided we should go and see a Bollywood film. There was only one film showing (cant remember the name...no surprise there then!). We had no idea what it was about, but we were told it was "sexy"! It consisted of girls dancing about in not many clothes and men obsessing over them! Of course I was the only girl in the cinema. It was really funny and we both enjoyed our dose of extreme Bollywood cheese!
