We spent our last day in Cusco relaxing with our new friends (from the trek) Sven, Beth and Emily over a beer and a soccer game before heading out for dinner to try another Peruvian speciality.. Guinea Pig.. Tasting like a perfumed cow dung it was even worse watching Soloman devour the tiny little claws and what little meat he could find on the poor little cooked critter.. Even to the point of smashing the skull apart to get to the non existent brain which the locals say was the best part.. I think they were having him on as they all stood around watching and laughing while he cracked away at the tiny little head.
