So it is a mix of maybe French=Paris...with some Vancouver, Canada...with the jungle? At least that was my first opinion....you tell me. Old buildings with modern buildings, and then some parrots...odd. Also the city is huge, and there is tons to see and do, no way that my 4.5 days there was sufficient. Also great walking city (i walked a bunch and even went for several runs in the great park space there). The city seemed bike friendly, a plus on my end, but the huge avenues were intense to cross! The widest avenue is in buenos aires, it has 21 laņes total for both directions, but dont forget turn laņes! The nightlife which I hardly saw is great since it starts at like 1 and goes until whenever in the early AM...with many districts and areas to choose from. The pastry shops here were soooo addicting.....I went daily (if not twice...could be why I have gained some pounds...opps) to fully enjoy my stay there! I went to get my nails done and hair done before I left, it was relaxing and cheap. I got to BsAs August 18 stayed a few days then dropped off my bags with a connection of mine there and did some side trips to other cities in Argentina and Uruguay. At first I didn't like the City much but it grew on you the longer you stayed...for me especially the parks did it.
