Too much to say so once again photos will speak for me :)
During the last month I had 2 really nice and interesting workcamps up in the Western Fjords. One was dedicated to the renovation of sculptures and houses build by the hand of an original Icelandic farmer... An artist with his own style.
The second camp was also about the maintenance of old buildings, keeping the heritage alive by working on the walls of an old whale station.
I also had some days off and hosted one hometown close friend. we challenged ourselves by hitch hiking the road N°1. Ring road all around Iceland, 1400km in 4 days ! we could even see pretty much all what we wanted to.
Tons of nice meetings, good memories, epic stories and adventures... Lots of good memories to ad to the one that are already in "souvenirs box"...
Now the workcamp season is ending and it will be the time of the reporting and activities feedback. A kind of new challenge in a way.
It's also the time to enjoy Iceland a bit more and receive some guests before that the weather and the day light turn off to the winter style.
