Harvard was really lovely, all green trees and red brick buildings. I didn't get the same college feeling I did at Stony Brook though, probably because although it is a campus university in some ways there are lots of 'normal' people around too. I left Bryn and Bethan in Harvard Yard and wandered around Harvard Law School, walking with such purpose that someone asked me for directions.
After another bookshop (I have gone to Lots - I should rename this blog "Bookshops of the Americas"), this one the Harvard Book Shop, rather lovely and I got a book by Robin McKinley, a favourite author of mine
The house has an amazing view, though just before we arrived it began to rain. It looks like it must be an amazing place in the summer. I wish I could run down and look at the lake but it is a little cold and dark now (not to mention wet). Perhaps in the morning.
