Wow!! Today was a great day!  Sarah and I spent the night at a charming little hotel with a semi crazy lady running it!  She kept asking quesitons, but never stopped long enough for the answer.  She was fun.  Our room was directly next to the train tracks, but it was not as bad as it sounds.  I actually slept very well!

We took a Rhine River Cruise down the Rhine River today and it was amazing!  We were able to see many castles and a very cool river coastline.  We got off the boat in St. Goar and toured the Rheinfel Castle!  It was really cool to walk around in the ruins of the castle and tour the dark and narrow tunnels! 

We got back on the boat for about another 2 hours and traveled down the Rhine, enjoying the scenery and the really cool thunderstorm!  However, when we got off the boat, the storm was not as cool because the train station was quite a hike!  We were wet and cold by the time we reached the station!

I had such a great day and made a few Christmas purchases for myelf!  I have really enjoyed Germany and I will miss it when we head to Paris tomorrow!
