What a great day!  We took the train into Florence today.  We all went to lunch together at a small cafe and shared pizza, afterward I walked around with Anna from Seattle and we did the more touristy things while Sarah, Cassie and Kim did more of the shopping thing. 

Anna and I had a really great time.  We saw so many beautiful churches and buildings!  It was so much fun to walk around and just see the sights!  Plus, we got gelato!  What more could you ask for? 

Everything here is so amazing and old.  I love to see the history that lies in each of the buildings and I am amazed when I think about how long they have been here!  It really makes you think! 

I am still having a hard time believing that I am in Europe Florence

 !  I have been planning and dreaming about seeing these things forever and now that I actually am, I find it very hard to believe! 

Tonight is our last night at the Heart of Tuscany, we leave tomorrow morning for Rome and will be there for 2 nights.  We are going to stop in Pisa on our way to see the Leaning Tower...it should be a great time!

I hope all is well at home!  I love and miss you all!

I THINK MAYBE YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF ITALY AND STOP THE DRINKING, YOU WILL BE AN OLE ALCHY WHEN YOU GET HOME.. CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT IT WILL BE LIKE WHEN YOU GET TO AMSTERDAM...
