Paris and Cannes

This morning, we had to find a place to stay tonight after we arrived in Cannes, so we went to a STA travel office and they helped us find a hotel near the station after a pretty frustrating hour!!

Travelling to Cannes

We began our Paris adventure at a small cafe and struggled to order.  (A few French lessons would have helped!!)  We began walking through Paris toward to Louvre and the view was amazing!  When we got to the Louvre, we decided not to go in because we only had a short time and we wanted to see more of the city. 

We continued walking along the Siene River toward the Eiffel Tower and it was beautiful!!  I am very happy that we were able to see the sights, but also a little disappointed that we did not have time to see more and spend more time there.  I guess I have a starting point for my next vacation!!

Travelling to Cannes

We took 2 trains to Cannes and we had fun on both.  We played cards and enjoyed the view of the French countryside.  We met people from England and Spain and had a great time talking with them.

We found our hotel very easily and went for a walk in Cannes.  It was so warm and beautiful outside!!  We are excited to spend tomorrow on the beach!!
